I finished his face! Thank you Yizhan gallery for letting me try something a bit different. He will join his siblings at the National Taichung Theater (which is the building on his belly). The meaning behind the ram is a play on the phrase 領頭羊 which roughly translates as leader. The idea is that gifting someone the ram is a blessing for success. I expect the gallery can explain that better than me!
Drawing on a 3d surface was quite challenging and really messed with my sense of perspective at first. Also I had to be very careful not to smudge the lines! I kinda want to keep him as my mascot haha. For those asking about sales he will be available through Yizhan Gallery (https://yizhanart1.com/) and won't be mass produced. He has parts of Taipei and Taichung on him (101, Dadaocheng, National Taichung Theater, Taichung and Hsinchu Stations, Taichung Streets, and a night market that's a mix of Yuanli and Tonghua Street)
